3 Decadent Delights

Chocolate Crunch Squares

1 11 1/2-ounce package milk chocolate chips
1 11 1/2-ounce package butterscotch chips
1 cup crushed Skor candy bar pieces
1 cup salted peanuts
1 cup halved pretzel sticks
1/2 cup sweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil)

Place the chocolate chips in a glass bowl - or other microwave safe bowl - and microwave until melted. About 1 minute. Stir. Add the butterscotch chips and microwave another 15 seconds until they are almost melted. Add the Skor pieces, pretzels and coconuts and mix till coated with the melted chocolate.
Drop by the spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Chill till firm. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave. With a fork, drizzle the white chocolate over the top of the chocolate mounds. Refrigerate till firm. Eat. Make lots, these go really fast.

Dessert Pizza

1 12 " pizza shell
1 8oz package cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and cut in half
1 bag chocolate chipits
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut

Bake pizza shell in oven till lightly browned. While it is baking put the cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and heat till soft. Stir in the butter and brown sugar till well mixed. Remove pizza shell from oven but leave the oven on. Spread the cheese mixture over the pizza. Top with the drained pinapple, cherries and coconut. Sprinkle the chocolate chipits over the top. Return to oven until the chocolate is melted and the coconut is just starting to turn gold.
Serve hot or cold.

Heaven in a Cake Pan

1 package dark chocolate cake mix
1 11 1/2 oz package dark chocolate chips
1/2 gallon Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream
1 container Cool Whip

Make cake as per directions and bake in an angel cake pan or deep bundt pan (must have a hole in the middle). Cool completely. Remove from cake pan and slice into 3 rounds. In the meantime put the ice cream in a bowl and let it get soft but not melted. Just soft enought to spread. Put the bottom layer of cake on a cake plate. Spread soft ice cream over the cake, about 1/3 of the container. Sprinkle with one third of the chocolate chips. Put on the other layer of cake, being careful to get it on straight. Spread another layer of ice cream and chocolate chips. Put on the top layer of cake. Fill the hole with the rest of the ice cream. Gently set the cake in the freezer till firm. Just before serving remove cake from freezer, cover the whole thing with the cool whip and sprinkle the top with the rest of the chocolate chips. Return to freezer until ready to serve. This is oh, so good and is definately worth all the trouble.
