BISQUICK TVP STEW
3 cups TVP chunks
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic, chopped
salt and pepper
2 cup water
2 cups frozen corn
2 cups frozen peas
4 carrots sliced into chunks
2 1/4 cup Bisquick mix
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup milk
In a medium size pot, add oil, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper. Cook
until onions are clear. Add 4 cups water, carrots and TVP chunks. Cover
and simmer 2 hours. Add frozen vegetables increase heat and cook uncovered
for 10 minutes. Thicken stew with a bit of cornstarch. Mix
your Bisquick. Pour stew into a large baking pan. Drop your Bisquick onto
stew with a tablespoon. Cook in 350 degrees oven for 1 hour. Serves about
6.
